A sneak peak at Ben Sherman Spring 11…

November 1, 2010

This week, Buzz will be going around the twice-yearly fashion press day circuit, checking out the latest from the greatest. We’ll be having updates from all the brands, including Firetrap, Fullcircle and Fly53.

Meanwhile, here’s a peek at Ben Sherman‘s new collection. Suffused with bold, zingy colours that haven’t been around for seasons, it picks up on workwear detailing with cool, lightweight anoraks, knits and rolled-up chinos for a fresh take on Ben Sherman’s dapper aesthetic.

For autumn 10, they’ve also got this Limited Edition classic Prep-style blazer, exclusive to their Savile Row store for AW 10. While it’s not online, there’s similar patterned numbers including this cool check blazer and some dapper peacoats.

“The inspiration came from the old school, back-to-college prep look. The traditional blazoring fabrication is wool blended with cotton, in a bold stripe in classic preppy colours. It is cut on the short Camden block, with three-button fastening and blazer buttons, 5-button functioning cuff, patch pocket on the chest and jetted front pockets.”

The crest was created by Ben Sherman designers, and is a crown with a laurel wreath encasing a globe, to represent a global brand with strong British roots.
